Burbo Bank, UK

NKT was part of the Burbo Bank offshore wind farm extension project. The original Burbo Bank offshore wind farm is situated on the Burbo Flats in Liverpool Bay (UK) and receives the full force of the wind from the Irish Sea in the west, making it an ideal location for offshore wind power generation.

Skagerrak 2 repair, Norway – Denmark

The national power grids between Denmark and Norway are connected through four DC-links crossing the Skagerrak strait, capable to carrying 1700 MW of renewable energy to the two countries’ energy mix. One of the cables, the Skagerrak 2, was damaged due to external impact.
